- When Apu went back to Budapest in 1973 Dezső Forrai still had all the shares from
Gyula Wellisch. He showed them to Apu. They were in a suitcase which was full of
American company stock papers. They still had full value in 1961 when they met in
Budapest as at that time the Americans still redeemed stocks that were issued in
American dollar, but by 1973 they had lost their value. - They amounted to 50-60 thousand dollars. A fortune in 1961 (some millions in today
dollars). In the end nobody got anything because no one trusted any one.
